Classic Wine

Kulpmont winery will produce their classic line of wines from the highest quality wine juice.  The high quality wine juice will be coming from some of the most well know wine producing regions in the world.  Juices from California, Washington and New York will highlight the United States product, while juices from Italy and South America will spotlight our international product.  These wines will be created to highlight the pure grape flavor with nothing added to enhance flavor or sweetness.  Because harvest seasons are different throughout the world, you'll need to watch for new Kulpmont Winery Classic wines to debut at different times during the calendar year.

  • South American wine juice mainly comes from Chili where it's harvested in
March/April.  These Chilean red wines should be available sometime in April/May
of the following year.  The Chilean white wines should be available around September/October of the same year they are produced.
  • California and New York wine juice arrives in early to mid September.  That allows our American red wines to be available sometime around October/November of the
following year.  The American white wines should be available around April/May of the following year.  American rose' wines should be available around August/September of
    the following year.
  • Italian wine juice arrives around late September or early October.  The Italian red wines should be available around November/December/January of the following year,
just in time for the holiday season.  While Italian white wines should be available around May/June the following year.  Italian rose' wines should be available around August/September the following year.

The 6 to 12 month aging process allows us to provide our customers with the best tasting
wines around. Keep up to date on our new batches of classic wines by joining the Kulpmont
Wine Club.  We will also be providing the occasional special wines to our classic line.  These special wines will be produced in very limited quantities and will sell out quickly.  These
special classic wines will be offered to our wine club members first and then offered for sale.  Please keep watching our website for the most up-to-date information but, the best way to
stay current on our winery is to join our wine club!
Bottle of Red, 2016 *SOLD OUT*
Our 2016 Bottle of Red comes to Pennsylvania from California and is a blend of four grapes.  Merlot, Zinfandel, Petit Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are blended together in perfect harmony.  Merlot and Zinfandel provide big fruit notes of blackberry and raspberry while the Petit Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon provide the structure and complexity.  The wine is slightly oaked to give it undertones of smoke and spice.  The smooth tannins provide a pleasant lingering finish.  Only 100 bottles produced of the 2016 edition of our Bottle of Red.  Get it while you still can!
Bottle of White, 2016
Like its much darker brother, our Bottle of White also comes to us from California.  It is made from a trio of grapes a Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Muscat.  The most popular white wine Chardonnay stars and brings with it apple and melon characteristics.  Chenin Blanc brings with it citrus aromatics and a much needed acidity that brings structure to the wine.  The final star of this wine is Muscat.  Muscat brings that distinct grapey flavor giving this blend a juicy addition.   Like its brother, Bottle of Red, we only produced 100 bottles for 2016.  Come and get it while you still can!
